Nelson E. Sierra, Jr.
Nelson E. Sierra, Jr., is an Associate of Tassone & Dreicer, LLC. Mr. Sierra was born in Bayamon, Puerto Rico, and moved to Florida with his family when he was 11 years old. He received his undergraduate degree in legal studies from the University of West Florida where he was the Public Relations Chair of the Sigma Chi Fraternity, Vice President of the Mock Trial Team and President of the UWF Salsa Team.
Mr. Sierra earned his law degree from Florida Coastal School of Law where he was a member of the nationally ranked Moot Court Honor Board and Vice President of Standards and External Competitions for the Mock Trial Team. Mr. Sierra was a quarter-finalist in two national moot court competitions and earned Best Advocate at the Hispanic National Bar Association’s Moot Court Competition. Additionally, he was elected by his peers as President of the Hispanic American Law Student Association for two years, and is a recipient of the Pro Bono Honors Certificate. During law school, Mr. Sierra used his Spanish-speaking skills to translate and interpret legislation for the city, and he continues to assist Spanish-speaking clients with their legal needs.
